(Olympic style rules allow for some players over the age of 22)

The Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL) was created to operate the only premier U23 adult amateur soccer competition throughout the Ohio Valley (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia) region. Player development is a central focus of the League, as the league strives to promote the region at a national level.

What is OVPL?

  • OVPL is the Ohio Valley Premier League, an under-23, amateur league.
  • OVPL additionally provides the ability for overage players to participate (23 years and older).
  • There are 22 teams, divided into two conferences.
  • Each team plays ten games within the conference, with a semifinal and final at the end of July.
  • Opportunity to advance to US Open Cup

  • Former US Soccer Development Academy, Head Coach

Program Overview:

  • Season Duration: May 1st through July 31st (3-months)
  • Training: Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
  • Anticipate a weekend game each week
  • Semifinals week of July 24th
  • Finals July 31st

  • Alternative Training Location(Grass): Murfin Fields, 4570 Haughn Rd, Grove City, OH
  • Alternative Training Location (Turf): TG Sports, 424 Woodland Ave, Columbus, OH
  • Regional travel for away games (Ohio Valley)

Cost:

  • Fully funded for players by SFA.
