Three things every parent
walks away with.
Most parents leave their first tech assessment knowing more about their player than the last 12 months of team practice could tell them. Here’s why.
Real data — not opinions
Players are measured on the same pro-grade tech used by Premier League and Bundesliga academies. Reaction time. Passing accuracy. Ball control. Agility. All measured. All quantified.
- Reaction time (ms)
- Passing accuracy (%)
- Ball control under pressure
- Speed & agility metrics
A personalized roadmap
Our UEFA/USSF licensed coaches turn the data into specific next steps — by position, age, and goal. You walk out with a documented plan that fits your player.
- Strengths & growth areas
- Position-specific focus
- Recommended training cadence
- Right next step for your player
Zero risk, zero pitch
No upsell. No “limited-time offer.” No high-pressure pitch at the end. You walk away with insights even if you never train with us again. That’s the deal.
- Free · no payment ever
- 30 minutes start to finish
- No follow-up calls or texts
- Your roadmap is yours to keep
Four stations.
One complete picture.
Most parents have never seen training tech like this before. Here’s exactly what your player walks through — start to finish.
Meet your coach & warm up
Brief intros. Your coach learns your player’s position, age, and goals — and runs a quick warm-up to get them moving.
10 minutes inside SoccerBot360
The 360° tech arena measures first touch, scanning, reaction time, and passing accuracy. The same system used by Premier League and Bundesliga academies.
Agility & reaction evaluation
Speed Court measures change-of-direction, first-step explosiveness, and cognitive reaction — the physical foundation of fast soccer.
Coach debrief + your roadmap
Sit down with the coach. Walk through the data, see where your player stands, and leave with a documented development roadmap.
You walk out with a real plan.
No sales pitch. No “limited-time” upsell. Just data, expert insights, and a documented roadmap you can use — with or without us.
Why we give away $150 of training.
Most parents are skeptical of “free” offers. Here’s the real reason behind ours.
“
We give this away because it’s the best way to show what we do.
Most parents have never seen training tech like SoccerBot360 or Speed Court. Photos don’t sell it. Videos don’t sell it. Booking a session does.
So we make the entry point free — no payment, no sales call, no follow-up texts. Your player gets a real evaluation. You leave with a real plan. If you decide to train with us after, great. If not, you still walk out with insights you didn’t have before.
That’s it. That’s the whole story.
The $150 breakdown

Where this starts.
The Free Tech Assessment is how most SFA families first walk through our doors. Here’s what some of them — including alumni now playing pro and D1 — say about what started here.
SFA gave me the foundation. The technology, the coaching, the standards they hold you to from day one — that’s why I’m still playing today.
The tech isn’t a gimmick. It taught me to think faster. Every session at SFA, I was working on things my team practice never covered.
We thought we were just trying out a free session. Walked out with more useful info about our son than his last two seasons of team practice combined.
Honestly skeptical going in — “free” usually means a hard sell. Got zero pitch. Got real numbers. Got a plan. Booked weekly training the next week because we wanted to, not because we were pushed.
Common questions.
Honest answers to what parents ask most before booking.
What’s the catch? Why is it really free?
There isn’t one. Most parents have never seen training tech like SoccerBot360 or Speed Court — photos and videos don’t sell it the way a 30-minute hands-on session does. So we make the entry point free.
No payment. No follow-up sales calls. No high-pressure pitch at the end. If you train with us after, great. If not, you still walk out with insights you didn’t have before. That’s the whole story.
Can my player do more than one Free Tech Assessment?
The Free Tech Assessment is one per player, ever. It’s designed as a one-time intro — a first look at our tech and a chance for us to evaluate fit.
If your player has already done a Free Assessment and you want a second evaluation later (to track progress, prep for tryouts, or re-baseline after time away from training), a Private 1-on-1 session is the right next step — same coaches, same tech, deeper evaluation.
What ages can do the assessment?
What should my player bring or wear?
Indoor turf shoes or trainers (no metal cleats — we’re on indoor turf), athletic clothes, water bottle. Shin guards optional. That’s it.
Players don’t need to bring their own ball. Everything else is provided.
Where does the assessment happen?
All Free Tech Assessments take place at our indoor training facility at 2901 E. 4th Ave, STE D, Columbus, OH 43219. Enter from Cassady Ave.
The facility has SoccerBot360, Speed Court, plenty of parking, and waiting space for parents — feel free to come in and watch the full 30-minute session.
How long does the appointment actually take?
30 minutes, start to finish. Plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in and meet the coach. The full evaluation runs four stations — warm-up, SoccerBot360, Speed Court, and the coach debrief — and we stay on time.
Will someone call me after to push training?
No. No follow-up calls. No marketing texts. No automated email sequences hammering you to register.
You’ll get one short message confirming you can reach out anytime if you want to take next steps — and that’s it. If you decide to train with us, you reach out to us. Not the other way around.
Do I need to stay for the whole 30 minutes?
You’re welcome to stay and watch the entire session, or step away and come back for the debrief. The coach debrief at the end is when we walk through the data and roadmap together — that’s the part you’ll want to be present for.
What if my player is brand-new to soccer?
That’s actually a great time for the assessment. The Free Tech Assessment evaluates where your player currently stands — not whether they’re “good enough” for SFA. New players, returning players, and competitive players all get something useful out of it.
If your player is brand-new and you want a recommendation on the right starting program after the assessment, the coach will include that in the roadmap.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Easy. The Acuity booking confirmation includes a reschedule link — change your time or cancel anytime with one click. No fee, no penalty.
We just ask that you give us 24 hours’ notice if possible, so the slot can open up for another family.
Still have a question?
Email [email protected] or call (614) 300-0016 — we’ll answer directly, usually within a few hours.
